Track insight · free summary
We read 4,125 written reviews across 11 apps in this category. Half of them have a worse 1–2★ share than 3.8%, half better. Below: the three complaints almost everyone here gets hit by, and how the sub-categories under this one label differ. No signup, no email — this page is free because it is also the only honest way to show you what the paid version looks like.
Median share of each app's classified complaints. These aren't anybody's failure — they are the cost of entry. Ship here without an answer for them and you'll be answering them in review replies instead.
| Complaint | Share of complaints |
|---|---|
| Crashes & freezing | 29.8% |
| Login & account access | 16.1% |
| Got worse after an update | 12.1% |
Inside this one category the apps split into groups that behave nothing alike. Which of these you build changes the answer more than the category does.
| Sub-category | Median complaint rate | #1 complaint |
|---|---|---|
| Time clock & timesheets 3 apps | 6.0% | Crashes & freezing |
| Store ops (retail / restaurant floor) 2 apps | 5.2% | Missing features |
| Store shift scheduling 6 apps | 3.2% | Crashes & freezing |
Time clock & timesheets apps here get complained at 6.0% of the time, mostly about Crashes & freezing. Store shift scheduling apps sit at 3.2% and get complained at mostly about Crashes & freezing. That is 1.9× apart under one category label — which is why "what should I build" has a different answer depending on which of these you are building.
| Track | Median complaint rate | Apps |

| AI companion & wellbeing | 6.5% | 14 |
| Field service | 7.4% | 21 |
Tracks never get pooled into one ranking — each gets its own median. Mixing them is how you get a number that is wrong for everybody in the list.
Complaint rate is the share of an app's App Store ratings that are 1–2 stars, from Apple's published star distribution. The written reviews we sample are pulled most-negative-first, so those two denominators are never mixed into one number.
Complaint mix comes from classifying each 1–2 star written review into one primary category. Coverage on this set is 62.1% — 1,721 of 2,770 1–2 star reviews landed in a named bucket; the rest stay unclassified rather than being forced into one. Read the mix as where the anger concentrates, not as a census.
This page is recomputed from live App Store data. When a number here moves in a way that's real — not noise — I'll send you the line that moved and what it was before. That's the whole email: no digest, no drip, no “3 tips”. The page stays free and public either way; this just saves you checking back. Reply “stop” any time and I drop you the same day.
This page is the skeleton. The full Track Insight for Shift work & scheduling adds the parts you actually build against:
Email t888st@outlook.com and say which category — we'll tell you straight whether what we track is close enough to what you're building.
There is no row for your app in either version, and there won't be until it's live. That's not a gap in the product — it's the difference between "what users shout about here" and "what they shout about you". Once you've shipped and collected roughly 30 reviews, the second one becomes possible.
